Mingos host Northwestern University Clinic


Northwestern Assistant Coach, Danielle Spencer will be conducting a lax clinic for all lacrosse players in the area regardless of club or school affiliation. This clinic is open to any and all participants, limited only by age and number. We are really excited to provide this opportunity to learn from Coach Spencer. Space is limited, so sign up early. You don’t want to miss out on this great day!

Location: Turin Sports, 260 Hogan Rd, Fairport, NY 14450 Register at: www.fingerlakesflamingos.com Cost: $40

Session 1 (9:00 – 10:15): Modified Players. This session is for girls that are in grades 6-8.

Session 2 (10:15 – 11:30): JV & Varsity Players. This session is for girls that are in grades 9 – 12.

Players should bring a stick, goggles, mouth guard and water. Note: All participants must be members of US Lacrosse.

Danielle Spencer is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous players to ever play women’s lacrosse. She ranks second in Northwestern’s history with 203 Draw Controls. She finished college with 238 points. She ranks 6th in the Northwestern record books with 93 goals. She was an All-American two times and was nominated for the Tewaarton Trophy two times. Spencer was crucial to the Wildcats bringing home NCAA Championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In high school she was a 1st Team All American and she led Brighton HS to the NYS Championship. Coach Spencer now brings that intensity to her coaching career. Danielle is currently an assistant coach at Northwestern.
